Energy, Flow, & Meditative Nostalgia

When I studied art in college 20 years ago, the work was judged on concepts, skills, processes and how "well" your work relates to the conceptual ideas of the moment. It was considered in the context of all the other art happening across our vast planet. For some, this resonates. Not for me - not anymore. I make art because I love the way art-making makes me feel. I feel free. I feel simultaneously calm and wild. I seek flow. I'm guided by waves of energy and I pull from my own moments of meditative nostalgia. I'm excited to share my experience with you & hear about your inspirations. There's a lot to discuss, let's follow this beautiful journey called life together!
